Monday – Updates
A chance for me to do regular journal-style updates, as well as answering the week’s topics from The Daily Post blog by the WordPress team.
Tuesday – Hidden Gems
Making a mention of little moments in films, games, books… anything that I find which catches my attention as being something special or something beautiful, that might be easily missed.
Wednesday – AMV of the Week/ Scrap Book
AMV – Something I used to do monthly on YouTube… Find a really well-made AMV, which stands for Anime Music Video (though they don’t all contain anime) and mention it on my site. This gives them publicity, while giving me the excuse to spend a bit of time every week scouring YouTube for something that moves me… either way, it’s a win-win situation!
Scrap Book – Previously posted on Sunday, the Scrap Book is where I share my creations. From a scanned-in sketch to a photo of some DIY… I’ve already stated numerous times I don’t draw enough, well it seems I don’t do a lot of artsy things enough! So we’re broadening the spectrum a little.
Thursday – Article
My attempt to coax myself into at least writing one review/article on here a week. These vary on themes and topics, and can include music, games, films… usually anything entertainment-related, but perhaps with the odd deviation every now and then.
Friday – Weekly Stumble
Yet another weekly web-trawl… this time using StumbleUpon, which is kind of like an internet-remote, allowing you to flick through pages at random dependant on your interests and find things you otherwise might never get to via search engines or browsing. Every Friday, I’ll pick the thing that I found most entertaining or interesting from my own stumbles that week, and share it on here.
Saturday – Album of the Week/Playlist
Somewhere in my room there are a number of lists of albums I have yet to listen to, which have been suggested to me by various friends, or I’ve meant to investigate on my own after liking a few songs, but I never seem to find the time. This is another personal encouragement – choose one of these a week, and let you know what I think of it after 7 days. If you can think of any yourselves which you would like to see reviewed, don’t be afraid to suggest them to me!
Playlist – Harking back to times when I used to host my own variety music show on the university’s radio station, every so often I’ll post themed playlists so I can share my more sporadic music tastes on the blog. These will also be posted on my Last.FM account.
Sunday – Lesson Learned
A chance for personal relfection, Lesson Learned is a new opportunity for me to look back on the week that has passed and share something that I feel I have gained from it. Whether this is a deep and spiritual epiphany, or a new way to peel potatoes, I’m sure it’ll be fun to play around with!
